Juan Pablo Delgado Berman was born on may 9th 1982 in Merida, Yucatan, although, he was raised in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, his family’s hometown and where he lived untill he was 19 years old.
In 2001 moved to Campeche to take his college degree in Communications Arts, and it’s in this city where he develops his firsts approaches towards Visual Arts.
His work has been shown in group and indiviual exhibitions in Mexico, USA, Cuba, Spain, Austria and Serbia. Nowadays, he holds a grant from the Promotion of Creative and Artistic Development Program, by the Mexican Goverment, with the “Intima Natura” project. Also works on other personal projects and sporadically publishes photos and texts in international media.
His works have been published in magazines like Quimera (Spain) and Ny Tid (Norway). His photos also illustrate the cover of the books “Asterisco” (2011) by Yassir Zárate, published by Fondo Editorial Tierra Adentro, and “Usted se encuentra aquí” (2013), by Eduardo Huchín Sosa, published by Secretaría de Cultura de Campeche. His work also illustrates the album “Canciones de desesperación, segunda parte” (2014) by the mexican rock band Los Toro.
